I’m sure many music enthusiasts and listeners to Benji B’s Radio 1 Xtra show were as impressed as I was with the Theo Parrish three hour special broadcast a few weeks ago. Yet more proof that Detroit plays host to an unusually large quantity of musical geniuses. As a total newcomer to Parrish, my baptism of fire included such highlights as his upcoming remix of Tulio De Piscopo’s ‘Stop Bajon’ (woah) as well as a spot of Led Zeppelin. For those who missed out on the show the first time around check out Core News, an amazing resource of radio shows and mixes from across the musical spectrum. A chap called Bozman has even managed to go some way towards a comprehensive setlist.
