Apologies for the faintly underhanded method employed to get your attention, I promise you’ll thank me later. Back in 2008, Full Crate and FS Green started Mixing Monthly, a monthly mix series featuring their favourite records, free to download courtesy of Nalden and with artwork to boot. Contained within were High-Rise favourites like Jneiro Jarel, J Dilla, D’Angelo, Roddy Rod and Dabrye, as well as some of the most buttery smooth mixing to have ever left the Netherlands. Fast forward to 2012 and they are back at it, and with similarly sizeable bags of music and talent. The February edition of Mixing Monthly 2012 dropped a couple of days ago; have a listen to 2012 so far below:
